Getting started
Getting started
Create the account, verify your email, find your way around the workspace, and set the preferences that matter before your first classification.
Allow five minutes: create the account, verify the email, tour the interface, then put a first question to the assistant.
Create the account
1Fill in the form
At app.transinaut.com, the form asks for full name, email address and password. The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one digit; sign-up is refused otherwise.
An optional checkbox subscribes you to product news. An anti-robot check (reCAPTCHA) runs in the background when the form is submitted.
2Or continue with Google
Continue with Google creates the account from your Google account, with no password to choose. You can unlink it later under Settings → Connections, provided you have set a password first, otherwise you would lock yourself out.
3Verify the email address
A verification email goes out immediately; the link inside activates the account. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then use Resend verification email on the sign-in page.
Finding your way around
The sidebar
Four destinations, always in the same place:
- AI Assistant: the conversation with the HS assistant.
- HS search: search and browsing of the nomenclature.
- Saved HS codes: your code library (paid plans).
- Compare HS codes: up to four codes side by side.
Below them: Settings. The sidebar can start collapsed (Settings → Preferences); on mobile the menu button opens it.
The top bar
- New chat and History: shown in the assistant, they start a conversation or open the panel of previous ones.
- Global search: Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on Mac) opens a palette that searches both the app's features and HS codes.
- Notifications: the bell shows the unread count (answer ready, security alert, billing event, product news).
- Upgrade: a shortcut to the billing page.
- Profile: light/dark toggle, settings, sign out.
Set the preferences that matter
The Settings page has ten sections. Four are worth a visit on day one.
Preferences
Interface language (French, English, Arabic) and HS code country, meaning the tariff base used by search and suggestions. Also the dashboard layout (grid or list) and whether the sidebar starts collapsed.
Assistant settings
Retention period for conversations: 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or unlimited. Past that, older conversations are deleted automatically. The same section holds Clear conversations, which permanently deletes the entire assistant history, and the model-improvement options.
Notifications
Two channels, email and browser push, crossed with five categories: assistant, security, billing, product, marketing. Every cell in the matrix toggles on its own. Critical security notifications are always shown in the app.
Privacy and data
Consents covering model training, usage analytics, history retention and personalised recommendations. Data export and deletion requests go to support, at the address shown in that section.
The remaining sections: Personal details, Security, Connections (Google), Billing and Delete profile.
First classification
1Ask the question
Open AI Assistant and describe the product: material, function, how it is presented. A usable description fits in one or two sentences, and the field accepts 5 to 200 characters. For example: Desk with a solid oak top and steel legs, for professional use.
2Read the answer
The assistant shows the progress of its search, then one or more proposed codes, each with its justification and references. The suggested questions under the answer let you narrow things down without rewriting anything.
3Verify before you commit
Open the code page to read the official description, import duties, unit, notes and classification rulings. If two codes are still in play, use the comparison.
4Keep the result
On a paid plan, save the code you keep with a note for context (product reference, client, file). It then lives in Saved HS codes.
