Chapitre 61Articles of apparel and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted

Les positions de ce chapitre de l'AHECC, la classification australienne des exportations publiée par l'ABS. Chacune s'ouvre sur les codes qu'elle contient.

Le chapitre 61 couvre les vêtements et accessoires du vêtement en bonneterie, c'est-à-dire tricotés ou crochetés. Le chapitre 62 couvre exactement les mêmes vêtements, mais tissés. Aucune autre caractéristique — matière, usage, genre — ne vient avant cette question.

C'est pour cela que l'erreur est coûteuse : un t-shirt et une chemise se ressemblent en rayon et relèvent de deux chapitres différents. Les articles textiles confectionnés qui ne sont pas des vêtements — linge de maison, sacs — relèvent du chapitre 63, tricotés ou non.
